Ricky leading 90+ students through an Ashtanga practice at Kripalu Center for Yoga, November 2011.

One of the students came up to me after the weekend and said they were most nervous about the Ashtanga class because of its reputation for injuries and it being too vigorous. After the class, they said it was refreshing to know it can be taught and practiced in a way that was healing vs. hurting.
