Meditation with Movement and Stillness  with Ricky Tran and Blair Lewis. This is a four week class that combines the movement of hatha with the inner dynamics of meditation. The class is for adults and teens who wish to travel back in time for a masterful approach to stress management and strengthening of self-confidence. We will return to the days when the sages and rishis walked among us, providing inspiration and practical advice through stories and strategies of the sages. Participants will learn the proper breathing techniques, pranayama, asanas (gentle postures), and meditation as taught in the Himalayan tradition. Blending modern medical science, brain nutrition and yoga science, Instructor Blair Lewis will help you develop and advance your practice of meditation. Please join us in an inspiring environment for both fellowship and self-development at Krama Yoga Studio. “Conquer the world within you and you have conquered the entire world.” Swami Rama Blair Lewis is a retired physician assistant and directs the Alive and Healthy Institute. He was initiated as a Pandit in the 5,000 year-old tradition of the Himalayan Sages in 1998. He began his study and practice of yoga and meditation in 1971.
Awakening Your Inner Fire of Brilliance & Courage with Ricky Tran and Blair Lewis. This is a four week class that combines the movement of hatha with science of breath (pranayama & swarodaya).  This class is for adults and teens who want increase their stamina and endurance both physically and emotionally/mentally by using their breath in a concentrated manner. 
There is no science more fascinating, nor more comprehensive than the science of breath.  With practice and expert guidance, anyone can regain an immeasurable amount of vibrant health, happiness and mental clarity. 
Class is divided into two parts each evening, we begin with preparing the body through gentle stretches and relaxation techniques.  Then you are prepared for the second part of the evening:  experiential methods of focusing the mind and immune system with the breath.
Contemplation & Relaxation -- Pondering the Present and Relaxing Past the Past with Ricky Tran and Blair Lewis
 
This four week class is taught in two parts to provide you with valuable insights into how to frame your life in a manner that inspires and steadies your view of yourself and your world.   This class is for adults and teens who want to learn to keep promises we make to ourselves and for those who wish to know how to trust their own insights.

Contemplation allows you the time and the space to sort out distractions and make powerful life-changing decisions.  Relaxation can interrupt the seemingly unending flow of doubts and distractions that cause you to miss great opportunities.  Get your mind on your side and live your life.
 
Class is divided into two parts:  the first hour will be on relaxation – the science and application of relaxing past the past; the second hour (90 minutes actually) is formal instruction in the contemplation techniques of the Himalayan sages for self-transformation.
