We love first-timers
Below is some helpful information for the first-timer to Krama Yoga Center.
On your first visit, please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to fill the new student info sheet, even if you have already created an account online. Please be advised first timers will invited to the next available class IF you are not ready when class begins. We want all new students to have the best experience and if you miss the opening of a yoga class, you may miss some key instructions for practice.
If you already have an account, you may reserve a spot online from the class schedule page.
We usually keep the front doors locked during class and in between classes for security. Doors open 15-20 minutes before class and there is a self check-in iPad for those who have a membership or valid pricing option.
We suggest buying class cards or getting a membership so self check-in is seamless.
Wear comfortable clothing that will not restrict movement. Barefoot is suggested.
If you do not have a yoga mat or hand towel, we rent them. Members receive complimentary mats and towels. We ask you to kindly clean rental mats after each practice.
There are bathrooms and changing areas.

What is Yoga?
Yoga means union but it also means a healthy body, balance mind and joyful and harmonious existence.
How much should I practice?
We suggest new students complete 10-20 classes your first 30 days. The results will amaze you! There is a saying in Yoga: Practice 2-4 times a week to change your body or 5 or more to change your life. Consistency is key and you will likely find that after a while, your desire to practice expands naturally and you will find yourself doing more and more.
What do I need to begin?
All you really need to begin practicing yoga is your body, your mind, and a bit of
curiosity. It is also helpful to have a pair leggings or shorts, and a shirt that's not too baggy. No special footgear is required because you will be barefoot. You can bring a towel if you’d like. The foundation of your practice begins with your mat. Get a good one. We rent and retail some of the best mats in the world in studio.
